Hello families, This week we continued on with our One Nature challenge! On Tuesday, Ms. Romanko's class taught us how to play Elephant Soccer and we waved goodbye to our grade 5 an 6 friends as they left for Outdoor School at Camp Chief Hector for 4 days! On Wednesday and Thursday we enjoyed having snack in the garden and listening to guest reader in the garden. On Friday we enjoyed our PE time outdoors with the other grade 1/2 classes. In math we've been reviewing balanced equations during our morning task. This is review from earlier in the year but still seems to be a bit challenging to understand! We've also been learning about 2D shapes including rectangles, rhombuses, and trapezoids. Students are identifying the numbers of sides and corners, and finding 4 things that are the same shape!
