Tuesday

Hello everyone!

We had a very busy day today! I reek of tuna!

Our classroom was turned into Santa's workshop today. Students worked with their buddies to make 18 batches of Crunchy Tuna Cat Treats. During work period, we added the 5th page of our 12 Days of Christmas Book and practiced our "-am" words. After lunch we were called down to practice for the Winter Concert. We continued work period/treat making afterwards and students went in small groups to exchange their library books if they needed to.

We started packaging the treats a bit and will continue this work tomorrow! Of course, today of all days, my Air Drop isn't working again. I will share some photos from our day today on tomorrow's blog!

AARCS Fundraiser 🐈🐶

Rooms 12, 16, 13 and 4 are doing another fundraiser this year to raise money for the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS). During the daytime and evening winter concert shows on Thursday, December 12th, we will be selling homemade Crunchy Tuna Cat Treats and Wowbutter Banana Dog Bites. Each bag will cost $3 and all proceeds will go towards AARCS to help ensure the animals in their care have their basic necessities this holiday season. Please bring cash if you are interested in purchasing treats for your own pets or as a holiday gift! Thank you for your support!

If you have any questions please email Ms. Midgley (lemidgley@cbe.ab.ca) or Mrs. Ireland (hlireland@cbe.ab.ca)

Additionally, if you are interested in your child arriving at school around 5:40pm on Thursday to help sell treats for the 6pm show, please send me an email. We do not need anyone from our class but wanted to give this as an option!
